Votive ship in the Århus Cathedral (Århus Domkirke). I took the pictures in August 2011 on a trip to Denmark.

The ship's stern shows the name "Enighed" 1720 and is said to be built in Holland.

The Russian tsar Peter the Great ordered war ships from ship builders in Holland.

During the process of specifying the ships this model was probably sent by sea to Russia.

A storm sank the transport by Skagen, but that model survived.

Fishermen from Århus bought the model and gave it as a votive ship to the Århus Cathedral.
