The ROYAL CAROLINE was built at Deptford shipyard in 1749 and launched in January 1750. She was King George II's principal royal yacht, and one of the most splendid and sumptuously decorated yachts of all time. She was also one of rhe fastest sailing vessels in the Royal Navy at that time.
The ship was used by the Royal Family until 1805, and finally was dismantled in 1820.



This finely worked, beautiful, elegant model of the Royal Caroline is 1 : 47 scale.

Length is 88 cm, width 26 cm, height 66 cm. The ship can be taken out of the stand, i.e. for transport.
