The longboats of 18th century navies

The longboats on large warships were workboats for transport of cargo and people, move supplies or water casks. They could be rowed or sailed when the masts were put up. On occasion they could be fitted with a large gun in the bow that could be used in military operations.

This model is a very beautiful, fine piece of work. The ship model is 1 : 24 scale. Length is 66 cm, width 14 cm, height 43 cm.

The ship model can be taken out of the stand, e.g. for transport. There is a glass case for the model, with a mirror in the back. The glass case is 80 cm wide, 25 cm deep, 46 cm high.

  

This model has already been sold. The pictures and the data are shown in the gallery of the ship models sold only to let enthusiasts and model makers enjoy the photos and maybe get ideas or some guidance, if someone builds such a model by himself.
