The wheel steamer NAUTILUS was built in 1870 for the Imperial German Navy. In the book of Wittmer, "Deutschlands Taten zur See", Verlag Hermann Montanus, Siegen 1915, the page 68 shows a photo of the NAUTILUS commenting: Old gunboat "Nautilus", 716 (metric) tons, 99 heads, 9 knots (see below, photo middle part, left).
