The gangway running from the quarter-deck to the forecastle can be removed to allow for a clear view of the boat and the cannon.

The ship model is not glued to the stand and can be taken out. However, two pins in the keel keep it from shifting.
The stand itself can be fixed to a board (e.g. in a display case) by four screws. The holes have been drilled.
Four browned screws are provided. To cover the drilling, four shortened, browned screws are given, too.
The name plate is fixed to the stand just by double-sided adhesive tape
and can be easily moved to some other place.
