Ship model Radaviso SALAMANDERThe Radaviso SALAMANDER of the Prussian navy was built in 1857. She was equipped with two rudders and could drive equally forward and backward. She was used as coast guard ship and was armed with four 40-pounder cannons. Her overall length was 63 m. Here are some high-resolution photos of the ship model with 280 - 600 kB: a view from starboard, a view from starboard ahead, the flag, a view from port, the paddle wheels, the boat and the foredeck, a midship view from astern, a midship view from port ahead. The ship model's hull was made from ebony, the paddle wheels from metal. Length is 110 cm, width 32 cm, height 57 cm. This model has been already sold. The pictures and the data are shown in the gallery of the ship models sold only to let enthusiasts and model makers enjoy the photos and maybe get ideas or some guidance, if someone builds such a model by himself. |
