Ship model  Radaviso SALAMANDER

The Radaviso SALAMANDER of the Prussian navy was built in 1857. She was equipped with two rudders and could drive equally forward and backward. She was used as coast guard ship and was armed with four 40-pounder cannons. Her overall length was 63 m.

The ship model's hull was made from ebony, the paddle wheels from metal. Length is 110 cm, width 32 cm, height 57 cm.
