The ROYAL CAROLINE was built at Deptford shipyard in 1749 and launched in January 1750. She was King George II's principal royal yacht, and one of the most splendid and sumptuously decorated yachts of all time. She was also one of fastest sailing vessels in the Royal Navy at that time.

There is an article in Wikipedia about the Royal Caroline, focusing on the later years with King George III.
The ship was used by the Royal Family until 1805, and finally was dismantled in 1820.

This beautiful, winsome model of the Royal Caroline is 1 : 47 scale.

Length is 82 cm, width 25 cm, height 72 cm.

There is a set of detailed photos of the model: several views of the entire ship taken from all directions, and several closer views of hull, deck and rigging.
