     GUSTAV IV ADOLF.  Scale 1:32.

  

     The ship was launched in Karlskrona in 1799. Constructor F.H. af Chapman.

     Length between perpendiculars  =  54.63 m

     Moulded breadth =  14.75 m

     Draft =  6.60 m

     Displacement  =  2680 tons.

 

     Renamed GUSTAV DEN STORE in 1811 and FÖRSIKTIGHETEN in 1825. Scrapped 1876.
    The model was made by Johan Neuendorff, captain in the navy engineering corps, and is consistent with the first drawings of the ship,

     made in 1792 by F.H. af Chapman. The model has probably been used for teaching purposes.
