Ship model British Navy gunboatThis is a model of a British Navy gunboat of 1800. Boats like this were used as coast guard vessels and for night raids into enemy ports. The main weapon was a heavy cannon before the mast. Please take your time to have a good look at the set of photos. There are several views of the entire boat model and of details (11 photos with 380 kB in total). If you click on a photo you will get that photo in high resolution. Only these high resolution photographs show how much work and handicraft ability were put in the model. Especially the heavy gun has been worked on with much love to detail. The very well done gunboat model is 1 : 16 scale. Length is 64 cm, width 21 cm, height 48 cm. This boat model has been already sold. The pictures and the data are shown in the gallery of the ship models sold only to let enthusiasts and model makers enjoy the photos and maybe get ideas or some guidance, if someone builds such a model by himself. |
