The bigger massive stand unfortunately caused some discolouration on the starboard side
of the ship's hull. One can see that when shifting the ship model a little bit.

If you prefer the small wedges as stand (as I do),
then you should place the model showing the port side to the viewers.

At the port side there is no discolouration on the hull. This should be the preferred side
shown to viewers if you place the ship model near a wall.
